PLP has developed a new technology called PSPA 'Post Stress Powder Application', it is a technology used for applying pulverous additives and ingredients onto granular products, after pelleting or extrusion. A benefit of this technology is it avoids cross contamination and production stresses, including thermal stress.
In order to better meet the needs of customers, PLP has developed a pilot plant in Piacenza, just 40 minutes from Milan, Italy. Here customers can test the coating systems using their own products (pellets, extruded, etc.) with the various powder or liquid additives (aromas, antibiotics, enzymes).
To learn more about these activities you can speak to PLP who will be in attendance at VICTAM 2019 in Cologne 12-14 June, or at Livestock Philippines 2019 in Pasay City, Philippines from 26-28 June.
