At this afternoon, 'virtual tour,' session, Bühler explained that, in the coming years, food processors who can quickly jump on new and emerging food trends will be the winners.
The eating habits of consumers are changing, with many new products hitting the market that use meat substitutes. These protein-rich meat alternatives are made using wet and dry extrusion. The new Bühler equipment can combine multiple processes into one. Another Bühler integrated solution can handle multiple food stuffs ranging from grains to nuts and chocolate. Bühler will be sending out a press release on Tuesday May 8th, 2020 concerning the many advantages to their new Choco X solution.
