The implementation period of the decision to reset the customs duty on wheat, barley and corn imports has been extended to April 30, 2021.
The Presidential Decree Additional to the Import Regime Decision entered into force after being published in the Official Newspaper.
In line with the decision taken, due to the continuation of the coronavirus epidemic, the validity period of the application of zeroing the tax on wheat, barley and corn imports was extended until April 30, 2021 in order to prevent the increase in grain prices, to keep the prices in the domestic market at reasonable levels and to prevent speculative price movements.
