The ICC confirm their participation in the 56th Meeting of the Brazilian Association of Animal Science

From August 16 to 21 this year, the 56th annual meeting of the Brazilian Association of Animal Science (SBZ) will be held online. The purpose is to build a space for technical and scientific discussions around the challenges of production and the sustainability of the planet and fostering networking through the meeting of companies, professionals, producers, academics, and scientific entities in the field of agricultural sciences.

"The SBZ annual meeting is an event of tradition and great importance for national animal scientists. It is a space where current and highly relevant scientific topics are discussed. Thus, sponsoring and participating in the event shows how much ICC is connected to the 'country's scientific production," says ICC's R&D Manager, Melina Bonato.

For the ICC Global Marketing and Sales Director, Otavio Fregonesi, research is one of the company's pillars, which justifies the support. "ICC's growth over the past 29 years has taken place through constant investments in innovation and technology. During this period, we carried out over 269 experiments in various animal species, 27 published articles, 93 abstracts in congresses, in addition to supporting several universities and national and international research centres. All these initiatives strengthen our commitment to science applied to animal production, and events like this undeniably contribute to the development of the sector," comments Mr Fregonesi.

The expectations are great. According to the R&D Manager, the SBZ annual meeting brings relevant topics for Brazilian and world animal production. "We are sure that this will be an important space for updating and directing the animal production chain. Therefore, as a yeast-based solutions company for animal health and nutrition, our mission is to be connected to the information that will be presented at this meeting," says Ms Bonato. "We are always aimed at offering solutions with scientific and technical bases for our customers."
