International Operational Millers Association Eurasia Management has shared the information that project partners and participants who are considering attending the meeting will not be able to attend due to the travel bans and regulations that some countries have started to apply after the Omicron variant of the Covid-19 epidemic.
International Operational Millers Association Eurasia Management have stated that they have been working for a long time to organise the conference and exhibition. However, they stated that the meeting is international and considering the health of the participants, they have decided to postpone the conference and exhibition to the dates May 19–22, 2022, which was normally planned for February 10–13, 2022.
International Operational Millers Association Eurasia Management said, 'As known; Necessary warnings and recommendations against the Omicron epidemic, which is seen all over the world and spreading rapidly, were received and put into practice by the Turkish Ministry of Health and the public authority. After the meeting of the Board Members of the Ministry of Health on January 5, it was estimated that the Omicron variant would reach the highest level in the world and in Turkey in mid-February.
'In line with the conditions and practices of the Exhibition Center where the meeting will be held, we have reluctantly postponed our meeting to 19-22 May 2022, to be held again at the Lütfi Kırdar Congress and Exhibition Center.
'We would like to thank you for your cooperation and support in this matter, and we would like to emphasise the necessity of continuity.
