UK first stop for Agritechnica on Tour 2023

On 10 January, 'Agritechnica on Tour 2023' will kick off with its first stop in the UK at the Lamma Show in Birmingham. Reaching farmers, companies and agribusiness professionals, Agritechnica on Tour is a series of in-person, in-country events that offer not only first-hand information on how to visit the world's leading agricultural machinery trade fair in Hanover, Germany, but also professional advice on how to exhibit.

Face-to-face meetings with the many exhibiting companies, which offer technical solutions, have always been an indispensable method for farmers to make informed decisions about high-value technical investments for the farm. At Agritechnica 2023 in Germany later this year, the industry will gather for a comprehensive overview of the world's technical arable farming solutions. 'What Agritechnica on Tour offers is advance information to farmers and exhibitors locally in their countries. The first event in the UK will be a chance to meet up and learn personally what companies and visitors can expect at the trade fair,' says Timo Zipf, Agritechnica Project Manager.

At the forthcoming Lamma show, 10 and 11 January 2023 in Birmhimgham, UK, the Agritechnica team on stand 6.400 in hall 6 will be on hand to present the 2023 edition.

An important part of Agritechnica, UK professional visitors appreciate the venue for its full range of equipment, solutions and innovations, not found in this breadth anywhere else in the world. With 6,000 UK visitors at the last edition, the event places the UK in the top ten. Highlighting the importance of the UK farmer at Agritechnica, the International Farmers' Day, which included a full day's presentations, was dedicated to the country in 2019. Over 60 companies from the UK exhibited at the last event with its 2,800 exhibitors from 53 countries. For the second time, the UK's Department for International Trade (DIT) together with UK TAG will organise a country pavilion at Agritechnica 2023.

Following the event in the UK, Agritechnica on Tour will visit Paris, France, on 18 January and Argentina at the Expoagro trade fair on 9 March. Events are also planned in Brazil and Poland.
