Protein is in the global spotlight as we strive to meet the nutritional needs of a population set to hit 9.5 billion by 2050 and European food and protein markets will evolve considerably in the coming years.
'High' protein is still hot in Europe and Western worlds and consumer awareness of the benefits of plant-based foods is growing. Debates on availability of proteins and impact on food security, economy and geo-politics, as well as the impact of protein production on the climate will intensify. Global transition is imminent in the food, pet food and feed industries.
All this and more will be discussed at Bridge2Food’s 10th Protein Summit 2017, 26-28 September 2017 (Reims, France). Europe’s largest annual protein industry networking platform will bring together Industry and Public Policy Leaders to discuss, co-operate, build and shape future strategies.

2017 Protein Awards The Summit will also host the 2nd Protein Awards which celebrate the innovators creating new plant, alternative and animal based products and ingredients plus those developing the technology to meet the increasing demand for affordable, healthy and sustainable protein.

The closing date for entries is 30 August, 2017 when an expert panel of judges will select a shortlist of finalists. The winners will be announced on 27th September at 10th Protein Summit.
