November 13, 2024 - The American Feed Industry Association (AFIA) has announced the addition of Andy Harizi as its accountant, effective November 4.

In this role, Harizi will work closely with Andy Timmins, AFIA's Chief Financial Officer, to support the AFIA and its partner organisations, including the Institute for Feed Education and Research (IFEEDER), the Food and Agriculture Export Alliance (FAEA) and the Global Feed LCA Institute (GFLI).

Before joining the AFIA, Harizi worked in outsourced accounting, where he managed a range of nonprofit accounting procedures and oversaw financial operations for several organisations. In that role, he was responsible for tasks such as managing accounts receivable and payable, reconciling ledgers, preparing financial statements and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements specific to nonprofit entities.
