Bühler at Ipack-Ima 2015 in Milan, Hall 3 /
Booth B15
Bühler technology will be prominently displayed at Ipack-Ima 2015, the most important trade show for the processing and packaging technology industry, in Milan, Italy from May 19 to 23, 2015.
Under the motto 'One step ahead in processing grains to food,' Bühler will showcase their expertise along the entire value chain, over an area of more than 600 square metres, in Hall 3 of the Fieramilano complex.
Bühler will be presenting various new processes for manufacturing regional food products such as gluten-free pasta and Asian noodles. The Polymatik pasta press, a proven solution for the globally growing demand for gluten-free food, fits right in.
Several other new machines will also be on-hand for viewing. This will be the world premier of the Antares Plus roller mill and the Ecothermatik pasta dryer. The further development of the successful Antares model ensures a constant, optimal milling result while at the same time reducing energy consumption due to its integrated measurement and regulation of particle size distribution.
The Ecothermatik dryer is a revolutionary new development for drying long-goods pasta. The ingenious way the drying air is controlled means it needs up to 40 percent less thermal energy, 20 percent less cooling energy and 10 percent less electrical energy.
Bühler is also showcasing its new impact
machine, Matador, which destroys insect eggs in flour and semolina at a
mortality rate of ≥ 99.5 percent. Bühler's sorting competence is proven by the color
sorter in the Sortex A series with its sophisticated and multifaceted sorting
functions. In addition, Bühler is exhibiting a new impact bran finisher. The
machine separates the adhering flour particles reliably from the bran and significantly
increases flour yield thanks to an optimized number of beaters and peripheral
speed. The beltless direct drive reduces energy consumption by up to 30 percent.
Other new products include the Maia bagging station for the fully automatic bagging of flour, premixes and granulates; a new micro-differential proportioning scale for accurate gravimetrically controlled addition of micro-ingredients; the Sanimix batch mixer for the rapid and homogeneous mixing of powders, flakes and granulates; and a new inline control sieve for removing foreign matter from powders and granulates which stands out because of its screw-free, hygienic feed and the sieves which can be accessed in seconds.
Finally, three new online measuring systems will be on display at the Bühler Ipack-Ima booth: The Online PSM for continuous particle size measurement, the NIR Multi Online Analyzer for determining moisture, protein, ash and starch damage and a measurement sensor for color and speck measurement during running operation.
Bühler Grain Milling will be at Ipack-Ima, Hall 3 / Booth B15
