Finally there is a solution to the challenges faced during the transition phase of high-yielding cows. During the transition phase and early lactation period, dairy cows are subjected to increased stress. Health maintenance and the prevention of negative effects to long-term performance are serious challenges for dairy farms.
A series of trials has been carried out at the Hofgut Neumühle trial facility as part of a cooperate research project between the University of Gießen and the University of Applied Sciences in Bingen. The results documented the positive impact of Anta®Ox in the transition phase of dairy cows. At the 69th Conference of the Society of Nutrition Physiology in Göttingen, Dr Denise Gessner presented the outstanding trial results:
Just in time for the elimination of the milk quota, Dr Eckel’s Anta®Ox showed significantly less inflammation processes, decreased stress in the liver and an average increase in milk production of 3.6 kg per cow per day.
