For João Carlos Marchesan, chairman of the Board of Directors of the Brazilian Association of Machinery and Equipment Industry (ABIMAQ), this was the best Agrishow in the last ten years.

"We had the presence of the president of the Republic, the governor, and several ministers of state. With Agriculture 4.0, we are experiencing a real revolution through robotics, artificial intelligence, the internet of things that, within machines and implements, are significantly changing agribusiness daily life and productivity in the field," said Mr Marchesan.

"In its Silver Jubilee, Agrishow 2019 further strengthened its reputation as an important agribusiness trade show worldwide. This year, connectivity and technology were highlighted as allies to increase productivity and efficiency in the field and the incorporation of important segments of the production chain, such as the area of inputs," says Francisco Matturro, president of Agrishow.

The 20th International Business Round brought together 15 buyers, from Argentina, Australia, Chile, Colombia, Ethiopia, Mexico, Nigeria, and Peru, with 52 Brazilian companies, in a commercial promotion action that resulted in more than US$ 32,926 million of closed and future businesses for the next 12 months.

This amount represents a 60 percent increase in relation to the same action in Agrishow 2018. Knows as the Buyer Project, the International Business Round was organised by the Brazil Machinery Solutions Program, a partnership between the Brazilian Agency for the Promotion of Exports and Investments (Apex-Brasil) and ABIMAQ.

Agrishow's next edition will be held on April 27 to May 1, 2020.
