DLG’s Exhibitions Department has appointed Tobias Eichberg as new managing director

As of May 1, 2021, Tobias Eichberg has taken over as Managing Director of the Exhibitions Department of the DLG (German Agricultural Society) and DLG Service GmbH, headquartered in Frankfurt, Germany. Mr Eichberg succeeds Peter Grothues, who will be retiring on 31 July.

Mr Eichberg has accumulated more than 25 years' experience in both the international agricultural machinery industry and the global exhibition sector.

After graduating from the University of Hohenheim, where he studied agricultural sciences, Mr Eichberg worked in various management positions in the agricultural machinery and commercial vehicle industry.

From 2004 to 2008, Mr Eichberg was project manager for Agritechnica, the world's largest trade fair for agricultural machinery, and later worked as a strategic consultant for international exhibitions.

Latterly, Mr Eichberg was responsible for international marketing at a leading global manufacturer of tractors and construction machinery.
