Expressing that they are in talks with Russia, Ukraine and the United Nations, Presidential Spokesperson Mr İbrahim Kalın said that both, Russia and Ukraine favour the issue regarding Turkey's involvement in the solution of the grain crisis in the world.
Russian President Putin will give the necessary instructions to Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov, who will visit Turkey on 8th June, President Spokesperson Kalın stated that the hosting will be made by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey, Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu.
Mr Kalin continued his words as follows, 'The situation on the subject will become clearer after the visit. We are ready to start this work as soon as possible. Over Black Sea to the Turkish straits and from there to the world markets. There are some issues that need to be technically negotiated and decided. Issues such as the creation of a security corridor, the Ukrainian side's clearing of mines, and the fact that Russian ships are not subject to any obstructions or sanctions after leaving their ports will be decided in the meetings to be held in Turkey in the next 1-2 weeks.'
