Alltech has received an ISO 22000:2005 certification for its plant in Dong Nai, Vietnam. Alltech Vietnam moved to Dong Nai in 2006, where it expanded its operations and built the production plant, which includes a state-of-the-art solid-state fermentation facility. Alltech vice-president Steve Bourne said “Operating under our strict AQS quality control system, which exceeds global standards and regulations, we can ensure that we are at the forefront to provide the technologies and quality assured solutions our customers need in order to address these future challenges”. ReplyDeleteThe effort of going beyond food safety management standards and regulations definitely deserves recognition. I’m sure this would bring forth more consumers to Altech. The numerous deadly illnesses caused by food poisoning prevalent today is a significantly problematic social dilemma, and the compliance of food companies to this ISO standard only shows their commitment to customer safety and satisfaction. Good job!
