Import authorisation given to Turkish Grain Board with zero customs duty

On the 15th January an official newspaper reported that the Turkish Government has given import authorisation to the Turkish Grain Board, allowing the import of wheat, barley, corn, rice, and dried legumes with zero customs for the year of 2019.
 


In accordance with the decision made, import authorisation has been obtained at the rates indicated in the list below:

Wheat: 1,000,000 tons
Barley: 700,000 tons
Corn: 700,000 tons
Rice: 100,000 tons
Pulses: 100.000 tons

The issue will be valid until 31.12.2019
