Hamlet Protein receives Japanese delegation

Hamlet Protein, Horsens headquartered global leader in young animal nutrition hosted a group of Japanese industry professionals on a week-long visit to Denmark. The group toured leading Danish companies to learn about the Danish pig industry and how they deal with current and future challenges.

Japan is one of the top-10 pork producing countries in the world and Hamlet Protein has long standing business relations with swine producers in the country. Next to strong production volumes, Japan is also an important importer of pork.

The Japanese delegation was interested in the Danish approach to animal welfare, biosecurity, farm management and genetics. The Hamlet Protein team zoomed in on the importance of young animal nutrition to drive performance throughout the lifecycle.

'Hamlet Protein aims to be a knowledge partner of its customers, and that is exactly what we achieve in these kinds of visits. The mutual learnings further deepen the existing relationships and drive innovative ideas for both Hamlet Protein and our visitors. We are grateful for the interesting interaction with our guests,' comments Anders Hagemann, sales manager at Hamlet Protein.

Hamlet Protein produces soy-based protein ingredients and fibre for young piglet, poultry, and cattle feed at two production plants in Denmark and the US. Hamlet Protein services customers around the world through a network of own sales offices and distributors.
