SPACE 2022 has begun!

After two years of strict sanitary constraints, SPACE are very happy to welcome the 1200 exhibitors and their future visitors to Space 2022 in good conditions. They have taken advantage of this period to reinvent the layout of certain halls, create new signalling and create a Young Space.

The organisers hope the reunion will be as warm as the climate over Brittany this year. This overly clement weather reinforces the extreme meteorological events linked to climate change. Space tackled early on this subject to bring concrete solutions to stockraisers. The aim is to help farmers to find possible improvements or even new sources of revenue through energy production. Concerns are increasing over rising production costs and certain solutions will be found in the halls of Space.

This year Space are celebrating 35 years and have the intention of remaining young! Thus Espace Jeunes for young students is there to listen to young people about their hopes and aspirations for their future trade.

The animal presentations are always an important moment of the show and this year Jerseys are having their national competition here, a step onto the European forum. For the meat breeds, the Blond d'Aquitaine has the honours. The passion and commitment of the breeders knows no limits and Space provides a magnificent shop window for the breed. These three show days will throw a new spotlight on the crucial question of food sovereignty. It is essential to guarantee quality food for all in the high geopolitical stakes at large. Each has his role to play and takes his place in our lanes. Each of us must seize the opportunity.
