Two of Scandinavia’s largest grain product organisations, Denmark's
DLA Group and Finland's
Raisio have agreed to work together on feed ingredient procurement. DLA coordinates wholesale trading activities for 31 cooperative and privately owned raw materials companies in Denmark, Norway, Sweden and the Baltic States, while Raisio is Finland's largest industrial grain processor, operating also in the UK, Sweden, Poland, Russia, Ukraine and Baltic countries.
The two companies have agreed to cooperate mainly in the procurement of feed raw materials and other production inputs. They will also explore opportunities for cooperation in Eastern Europe and plan to set up a working group to explore these possibilities.
