Event: Indo Livestock

Are any of you at Indo Livestock?  The event starts today.  What's going on?  What are you most excited about?

The Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Indonesia, Directorate of Animal Husbandry and Animal Health, will again host the international exhibition in Indonesia's largest agribusiness livestock industry and animal feed, "Indo Livestock 2012 Expo & Forum" for  the seventh time. 

Located at Jakarta Convention Center (JCC) from 4 – 6 July 2012, the exhibition will be held in conjunction with the exhibition of the animal feed industry (Indo Feed Expo & Forum), the dairy industry  (Indo Dairy Expo and Forum) and the fish farming industry (Indo Fisheries Expo & Forum). 


Indo Livestock Exhibition Series is waiting for its implementation by all actors in the livestock business from nationally and abroad ranging from businessmen, researchers, commentators, producers, consumers and governmental agencies engaged in the livestock sector. Therefore, at least 400 exhibitors from 40 countries are going to once again participate in this exhibition and more than 14.000 visitors are expected to attend the three days exhibition. Indonesia, Singapore, Europe/ America, China and Taiwan as a state, participated as pavilion countries. 


We can say that this International Livestock Expo and Forum  is a business gathering event for the entrepreneurs livestock industries, the animal health experts, farmers, the management of animal feed, food processing, suppliers and distributors. Hoping that Indo Livestock  Expo & Forum will always be a great opportunity to give an overview of the latest technological developments and the livestock industry in the Asia-Pacific, as well as a forum to enhance business cooperation, though the development of technologies and services farms in Indonesia.

As an organizer, PT Napindo Media Ashatama, has prepared a lot  of activities such as seminars, workshops, dialogues, socialization, business matching and more. Several seminars have been prepared, among others the one which  organised by Bogor Agricultural University (IPB) Faculty of Animal Science is the 2nd International seminar on animal industry 2012 – ISAI 2nd, taking the theme  "Empowering Local Resources For Sustainable Animal Production in Adapting to Climate Change" on  5 – 6 July 2012 at JCC, Jakarta. 

ISPI (Ikatan Sarjana Peternakan Indonesia)  will take part in the implementation of ISO Quality Management Seminar 22,000, "Assuring Food Safety and Animal Origin Products"; National Discussions “Menuju Swasembada Susu" by Swadaya Magazine; "National Workshop on Local Poultry" by the World’s Poultry Science Association (MIPI-WPSA Indonesia) and Livestock Research and Development Center- Ministry of Agriculture; "Socialisation for Licensing for Inflowing and Expenditures Livestock and Livestock Products" by the Directorate General of Livestock and Animal Health, Ministry of Agriculture; "Socialisation of Animal Quarantine Policy" by the Quarantine Agency, Ministry of Agriculture; FMPI Seminar; "Declaration of Indonesian Farm Animal Walfare Society/Indofast (MKTI)"  by PB ISPI &  PDHI and many more. More than 100 Technical Product Presentations can be followed for free by visitors who want to know in detail about the products of the livestock industries that will be presented by the producers.

The more interesting program is an improved nutrition through a campaign of animal protein consumption "Milk, Meat, Egg and Fish" (Kampanye SDTI- Susu, Daging, Telur dan Ikan), will be presented  in a very interesting event, and held in conjunction with Bobo Fair – Journey To The World 2012 from 4 - 6 July 2012. With the theme "Food Education Campaign", for a Healthier Generation and a better life, some famous artists and experts will enliven this event, such us dr. Lula Kamal, Dr Ir. Cesilia Meti Dwiriani, dr. Ali Sahab, dr. Amin Fa, S.Psi., Dr. Ir. Rochim Dahuri, MS., Prof. Dr. Made Astawan, MSc., Ir. Teguh Boediyana, dr. Nycta Gina and Chef Farah Quinn.

A variety of interesting events will be held, such as a talk show or dialogue about  nutrition, cooking demo, dialog on nutritional problems, competitions and many more which will be led by the top artists and culinary experts such as Farah Quinn and Billy Kalangi.
