Over 170 exhibiting companies have booked their participation at
ISRMAX Asia 2012 - The International Sugar, Rice, Maize
& Agriculture Expo Asia 2012 – that will take place at
IMPACT Exhibition and Convention Centre, Bangkok, Thailand from August 29-31, 2012.
Exhibiting
companies from over 10 countries, such as Thailand, India, USA, Vietnam, Japan,
Korea, Taiwan, Germany, UK and Singapore will be showcasing their latest
technology, products and services covering the entire value chain of sugar,
rice and maize agricultural production, from pre-harvest to post-harvest with
exhibits ranging from agricultural machinery, irrigation machinery, crop
protection, seed, fertilizers, storage, weighing, cleaning, drying, milling,
sorting, packaging and finished products from all parts of the world such as
Jasmine, Basmati and other varieties of rice.
The
key sponsors and event partners of ISRMAX Asia 2012, namely SIAM KUBOTA (a JV
between KUBOTA Corporation (Japan) and SCG) and Chery Heavy Industry from China
and, TG Control a distributor of ABB specializing in rice mill automation, and
Dunar, a major Basmati rice exporter from India, and together with the other
exhibiting companies, reflect the positioning of ISRMAX Asia 2012 as a focused
industry platform representing the entire value chain of sugar, rice and maize
agricultural productions, from pre-harvest to post-harvest.

Hence
it is no surprise that ISRMAX Asia 2012 has attracted many key decision makers,
trade buyers and trade professionals registering their intention to visit the
event. The recent opening of the event’s website visitor registration has shown that many
attendees from as many as 15 countries across Asia, Europe and North America
has since confirmed their attendance. Over 3000 trade visitors are expected to
attend this event.
ISRMAX
Asia 2012 promises to be indeed, the largest regional industry gathering,
knowledge sharing and networking platform for the sugar, rice and maize
agricultural sector with the staging of a series of international conferences,
seminars, awards and technology workshops alongside the exhibition floor.
One
key conference is the Thailand Rice Science Conference 2012, organized by the
Rice Department of Thailand’s Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives. This
conference will bring together scientists, farmers, agriculturists, industry
professionals and students to exchange and discuss climatic challenges, food
safety and security, developments, trends and challenges faced in rice
productions.
Other
co-current conferences taking place during ISRMAX Asia 2012 include the Asian
Agro-Marketing Forum 2012 organized by the Agricultural and Food Marketing
Association for Asia Pacific which is expected to draw many delegates from the
Asia Pacific region.
During
ISRMAX Asia 2012, the Office of Cane and Sugar Board, under the Thai Ministry
of Industry will also take the opportunity to host the prestigious Sugar Day
Award to honor Thailand’s best sugar cane farmer and sugar miller.

up over 6,750 sq meters of exhibition space, ISRMAX Asia 2012 has received
