Join market participants and
policymakers at the 2014 IGC Grains Conference to assess the outlook for grains
and oilseeds with the theme 'Shifting
Horizons for Global Trade'.
Trade is forecast at record levels this season, but transport capacity constraints, unfavourable weather in key producing or exporting regions, political events and customs issues continue to provide challenges.
In particular, a focused
post-conference workshop will address the specific issue of shipment pesticide
residue limits and the impact of varied standards and policies on the
international trade of grain.
