Vortex
Asia-Pacific, a solids and bulk handling components company, announces the
relocation of its office. In January 2018, the company moved into a newly
renovated industrial building to house its primary office and distribution centre.
The new office space spans more than 100 square meters and includes a large conference room, a demonstration room to showcase Vortex products, and plenty of storage. Prior to its move to Vanke VMO Plaza, the Asia-Pacific office was located in the CIMIC Building, also in Pudong. Now, the company is relocated outside of the busy city centre of Shanghai. This offers the dual benefit of reduced costs and greater accessibility and convenience for customers who visit the office.
“Our customers have responded very positively to the move,” said Tony Zhang,
marketing manager at Vortex Asia-Pacific. “The Chinese marketplace appears
promising for 2018. With this new office space, we look forward to providing a
greater service to our customers and growing our profitability for many years
to come.”
This year, Vortex Asia-Pacific will celebrate its ninth year of serving the dry bulk industry. This move marks the company’s second relocation in that timespan, to accommodate more staff and warehousing space.
Vortex Asia-Pacific’s parent company, Salina Vortex Corporation, was founded 40 years ago in Salina, Kansas, USA. The Asia-Pacific office is responsible for the corporation’s many business activities occurring throughout China, as well as the management of Vortex’s five representative agents in the Chinese marketplace.
The company’s new address is:
Vortex Asia-Pacific
Room 531, No. 37, Vanke VMO Plaza
Lane 2049, Pu Jin Road, Pudong
Shanghai, China, 201112
In addition to the US and Asia-Pacific offices, Vortex operates global offices in Darlington, UK and Latin America.
“Much of our company’s growth can be attributed to Vortex’s employees,” said Travis Young, executive vice president of marketing & global strategy at Vortex. ”We have a great team of people that maintain our company’s core values of Respect, Humility, Integrity, and Passion in China, and also in our US headquarters and in our UK and Latin America offices.”
