The new products have been developed to comply with recent changes to the (EC) 1831/2003 register, formulated to be free from ammonium formate and will sit within Anpario's well-established Acid Based Eubiotic (ABE) and Feed Hygiene ranges. Ammonium formate is most commonly associated with the production of buffered organic acids, an additive frequently utilised in livestock diets across Europe. The recent changes to the Commission Implementing Regulation (EU 2022/415) no longer permits its use in the following species; laying hens, sows, dairy ruminants, pets and non-food producing animals.

'Our new range of ammonium formate free products will enable those producers impacted by the regulatory changes to have a seamless transition to an alternative product, without impacting their performance and profitability as is associated with our consistently high-quality products,' comments Richard Edwards, CEO of Anpario.

The new range of products are readily available from Anpario's European warehouse, which was established in 2021 to support Anpario's continued expansion within the region and ensure fast, efficient distribution to customers.

Anpario's innovative feed additives are developed and produced from our quality assured manufacturing plant in the UK. With over 30 years of expertise in the agricultural sector, they have worked with key research institutes and universities across the world to provide innovative, cutting-edge technologies to help customers achieve optimum animal performance, with a good return on investment, helping to boost profitability in today's modern livestock production systems.
