Cooperation between Turkey's TUSAF and IAOM in the Eurasia Region

Turkey's Industrialists Federation (TUSAF) and International Association of Operative Millers (IAOM) have agreed for a cooperation to work together in the Eurasia District.

The Eurasian Region, in which TUSAF will assume the Regional Director of IAOM, consists of 31 countries with a total population of more than 2 billion and an economic size of 5.1 trillion dollars and realised 30 percent of the world's total wheat production of 737 million tons in 2018.
 


As it is known; Russian Federation, Kazakhstan, Ukraine and Turkey which are the rising stars in the Eurasian region and the boundaries of the world's grain milling industry the world wheat and flour trade in recent years has acquired an important place for itself.

In addition, a large part of the 12 million tonnes of world flour trade takes place in this region. And Turkey is the biggest flour exporter in the World market the last six years.

23-25 April 2019; IAOM Eurasia Workshop is the first step of this cooperation with the theme of 'Meet Millers Professionals' announced in Antalya before TUSAF 15th International Congress and Exhibition to be held on April 25-28.
