Forafric as one of the leading Moroccan groups in grain trading and processing, recently came to an agreement with Alapala for their new milling investment under its development plan. The huge project includes the capacity extension of their three existing mills as well as the construction of three new mills in Morocco, which will be supplied and installed in turnkey basis by Alapala.

Forafric Group currently represents a wheat crushing capacity of 2.420 metric tons per day. With this new investment, the company will increase its wheat and durum processing capacity by 2.370 metric tons per 24 hours over the next 30 months.

The financial value of Forafric's new investment including all components, buildings, equipment, and working capital requirements is around one billion Moroccan Dirhams.

Mustapha Jamal Eddine, Forafric Maroc CEO says that 'Over the last four years, we have been focusing on improving our processes, cost basis and market penetration. Today, we are opening a new era of development in order to take advantage of the synergies, improve our cost basis and to consolidate our market position in Morocco, the first market for our group.'

Not only in Morocco, Alapala is very active in all over the Africa region with its local existence via offices, branches, and wide representative network, as well as numerous flour, semolina, and maize mill references throughout the region ie.
