Two new appointments for Anpario

Anpario, the independent manufacturer and international distributor of natural, sustainable feed additives for animal health, nutrition and biosecurity, is pleased to announce the appointment of Ellie Burroughs as product technical manager for ruminants.

Ms Burroughs graduated from the University of Lincoln with a BSc in Bioveterinary Science, before undertaking her Master's degree in Ruminant Nutrition at Harper Adams University. Since graduating in 2017, Ms Burroughs has worked both in the UK and internationally with Scotmin Nutrition as a Commercial Nutritionist.

Commenting on Anpario, she says, 'I am very impressed by Anpario's commitment to sustainability whilst producing effective, high quality and environmentally conscious solutions.'

Ms Burroughs' strong nutritional background will be a great asset to Anpario's technical team, as she takes on the management of the ruminant research and development portfolio and will offer technical support on products, such as the Optomega range.

Anpario has also appointed a new Broiler & Turkey Territory Sales Representative in the US, Chaz Ramsey

After graduating from Virginia Tech in 2016 where he studied Agricultural Science, Mr Ramsey began his career in the industry with Cargill Turkey Production in the roles of flock and hatchery supervisor.

Mr Ramsey will be a valuable asset to the expanding US Anpario team, which includes nutritionists, vets and experienced agricultural technicians and managers. Mr Ramsey will apply his experience to lead sales and service initiatives for both turkeys and broilers.

'I truly feel that Anpario's portfolio of products provide great solutions for the problems that the poultry industry faces. I wanted to move into a sales role to help provide those solutions to producers,' explains Mr Ramsey.
