Big news from Qatar today as Meat & Livestock Trading company Widam (formerly Mawashi), has signed an agreement with the Department of Supply in the Central Tenders Committee, making the company one of the main distributors of subsidised feed in the State.
"We're very happy to see the launch of Widam perfectly timed with this announcement and we hope for this agreement to support domestic animal resources and to hold many returns for investors," said Mr Ahmed Nasser Sraiya Al Kaabi, managing director and chief executive officer of Widam.
Widam will commence the selling process of the feed, that consists of barley and Shuar, through the main outlet located in the Central Market. In addition to the subsidised feed, Widam will also offer clients a wide variety of feed ranging from Qatar to Australia, America to Sudan, Iran and the UAE.
