This week sees OAT 2022 kick off in Perth, Western Australia, the 11th International Oat Conference, hosted by the Grain Industry of Western Australia.
The conference, a meeting of minds for every serious player in global oat research & production, was delayed from its original planned date in 2020. Usually taking place every four years, it was last hosted in St Petersburg in 2016. The event last took place in the UK in 1985 at The University of Aberystwyth, when Morning Foods took a lead role in positioning the UK as a global hotbed of oat production and expertise.
Morning Foods are delighted to be a platinum sponsor of this year's event, that sees the global oat industry gather to share developments and updates from around the world on all aspects of oat production, from agronomy to milling to environmental policy.
Andrew Rutter, commercial director at Morning Foods says, 'We're privileged to be bringing the 'Oat Quality Products and Innovation' theme of the program to the global delegates. We're looking forward to meeting and further championing the fantastic UK oat industry with all of our colleagues from across the world.'
The conference runs all week, with representatives from all of the world's oat growing nations in attendance.
