  • Poland has become the eight EU member state to ban the cultivation of GM crops approved by the European Food Safety Authority as safe. Two crops will be affected by the ban: Monsanto’s MON810 maize and BASF’s Amflora potato. The  decision will come into effect on January 28, 2013. Read more...
