Vaccine producers Animal Science Products Inc. (ASP) and animal health solutions provider BEC Feed Solutions have announced a collaboration to introduce
and sell ASP’s superior vaccine protection products in the broiler and
layer markets.
The product range will consist of several unique water pH stabilisers
and vaccine protection products.
"These products have demonstrated excellent results in scientific
trials, farm trials and have become well established throughout the
intensive livestock industry; and are the dominant products in the
United States," says Bailey Reynolds, president of ASP.
A severe cyclone has damaged warehouses containing 52,000 tonnes of foodgrain stocks in the Jagannathpur and Berhampur regions of Odisha, India.
KV Thomas, Indian food minister, has asked his senior officials to remain in constant
touch with the government to help ensure immediate action for those affected.
A new US$11.2 million, privately owned grain facility has opened near Aberdeen, Washington, USA. Comprising of four stainless steel grain bins, the new facility was introduced to help meet the growing need for storage and
delivery.
Three of the bins
can hold 730,000 bushels of grain, while the fourth can hold 360,000
bushels. The bins are adjacent to a railroad loop track, which is connected to North America's second-largest freight railroad BNSF Railway.The high-speed equipment can load a 110-unit
train in about eight hours.

In view of the reported
damage to godowns at these two places, the Centre has directed the FCI
officials to get the quality control report prepared about the damaged
stocks and ensure quality of grains before issuing it for Public
Distribution System (PDS).

grains before supplying it for PDS distribution.

in coastal parts of Odisha, an official government statement said.
