G-20 Meeting to focus on price volatility

On June 22-23 in Paris the G-20 Farm Ministers will be meeting, to discuss measures allowing increase production and productivity for world agriculture production also developing efficient and sustainable feed and livestock production.

FEFAC President, Patrick Vanden Avenne, in an open letter sent to the EU farmers Commission stated that “Food security should become strategic policy goal both at EU and global level”. “Modern feed and livestock production provides key solutions to effectively deal with price volatility and supply of affordable food products for a growing world population”.
