The majority of corn still goes into animal feeds
More corn is used in the livestock feed industry than is used in ethanol production, even though more is written about the ethanol industry. According to reports from the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) and PRX, and US international livestock, corn continues to be the number one user for American corn using approximately 7.7 billion bushels per year.
