The new BinMaster RL non-contact level sensor continuously measures the level of grain, DDGs, flour or feed ingredients contained in bins, tanks and silos. This sensor performs in high dust environments and provides very accurate level data. It’s been designed to be easy to install and is dust resistant, so there’s minimal maintenance.
"We call it the RL because this sensor provides highly reliable level data, unlike some types of non-contact sensors that won’t work in very dusty environments.
"It measures in a narrow beam and outputs level data via a 4-20mA signal or RS-485. It programs directly from the head of the device in a few easy steps using a simple quick start guide," says the company in a press statement released today.
The RL can be combined in a network containing any model of 3DLevelScanner – S, M, MV or MVL – and it can also be integrated with MultiVision software, enabling the user to see all of their bins using a single screen.
