First cultivated in the 19th century, oilseed rape (also known as rapeseed) was originally used as a lubricant for steam engines.
Nowadays, oilseed is used in the production of animal feed, vegetable oil and biodiesel.
With the world production of oilseed growing, an event aimed at addressing the key opportunities and challenges facing the oilseed trade in Europe, the Middle East and North Africa will take place next February.
What will the Oilseed Congress/MENA involve?
As well as addressing the key opportunities and challenges facing the oilseed trade, the congress will provide networking

the supply chain.
