non-members €1900.00

For each further participant of the same company the admission fee is for
members of IFF €1100.00
non-members €1500.00

The participation becomes binding after confirmation of the Research Institute of IFF. If the registration will be cancelled by the participant by 10 days before the course starts, a service charge in the amount of €150.00 will be invoiced. Thereafter or should the participant fail to appear, we will charge the full admission fee. A substitute can be delegated.

The feed industry has to meet manifold requirements in its function as reliable partner in the chain for the production of foods of animal origin.
In view of the dynamic developments of the market, there are considerable efforts necessary for safeguarding the competitiveness.
Based on both class education and practical experiences, updating, extension and refreshment of required knowledge for an economic and safe compound-feed production is given. Furthermore, attention will be paid to the use of various resources and quality control.

Target group:
This course is intended for advisors, technical staff and other interested personal working in the feed industry. It is also recommended to employees of the supplying industry, nutritionists and policy makers.

• Steam generation, steam properties and conditioning
• Pelleting and pellet quality (with practical training)

• Expanding (with practical training)

• HACCP in feed mills
• Vacuum coating
• Hygienising of compound feed
• Post pelleting application (PPA) and bulk blending
• Production of premixes
• Constructive explosion protection
• Energy saving
• Basics of animal nutrition


Instruction
Experience and knowledge will be imparted in updated lectures, seminars and discussions. Enhanced practical courses on selected subjects shall illustrate the contents brought forward.
Each participant receives a workbook containing all lectures and documents.
The attendance at the course will be attested.
The successful participation in a written examination on available and acquired knowhow will be certified.
The successful graduation can be used as proof of the technical know-how.
