22/10/2015: Field to Loaf World Record

http://www.christy-turner.com/
Christy Turner's Christy & Norris LB7 table top mill was used by RAGT Seeds Ltd to break the Field to Loaf World Record.

The grain was harvested, passed through the Christy & Norris grinder to produce a wholemeal flour, then mixed into a dough and placed in the oven to cook. 15 minutes and 27 seconds later, a Baker's Dozen emerged, smashing the previous world record by nearly a minute!

Congratulations RAGT Seeds! See the video HERE.

The Christy & Norris LB7 grinder is typically used for light grinding applications, including processing feeds and cereals. The major structural components are manufactured from cast iron to provide a rigid long lasting mill. Adjustable beater tip clearance, simply moving the position of the beater pins to one of two hole centres, assists in achieving the desired particle distribution. The mill has two perforated plate screens, accessible by slackening the bolts holding the top of the mill and swinging open the top half of the mill. The bottom screen is located in a hemispherical groove in the bottom half of the mill and the top screen is fitted to suction discharge configurations, located in a groove in the top half of the mill. Adjustable air intake allows air to be drawn over the outside of the top screen, helping sweep away the ground product. Inlet chutes can be fitted with strong plate magnets removing any metal that may otherwise damage the mill.

The Christy & Norris LB7 grinder - a popular choice, not just for world record holders!
