Next year, the IFF Research Institute will host an international course based around the fundamentals and new developments in feed-compounding technology.
The Research Institute of the IFF, a member of
the GMP+ Academy, is the scientific centre of the
International Research Association of Feed Technology
((Internationale Forschungsgemeinschaft Futtermitteltechnik e.V., (IFF)), an initiative of the German Association of Feed Industry.
For 50 years, the Research Institute has supported the feed industry with cooperative research projects, contract research and training courses.
What does the course involve?
- The aim of the course is to update, extend and refresh knowledge for economic and safe compound-feed production
- Each participant will receive a workbook containing lecture notes and documents.
- As part of the course, a written examination is offered. The examination is certified and can be used as proof of technical know-how.

Who is the course for?
The course is intended for both junior staff and practitioners as well as technical management staff from all sectors of the feed industry. As the course covers feed production and the safety and quality of products, it is also recommended to employees of the supply industry.

- The course will take place from 10-14 February 2014 at the IFF Research Institute of Feed Technology, Braunschweig-Thune, Germany
- A limited amount of rooms have been booked at the Balladins Superior Seminarius Hotel in Braunschweig at a cost of €75 per room/per night. Breakfast is included. Rooms should be booked by 31 January 2014.

The admission fee, which includes documents, soft drinks and lunch, is tax-free as part of the German value added tax act. An early bird discount is available to those who register before 31 December 2013.
