03/01/2017: President of the European Agricultural Machinery Associatıon to attend Izmir Agriculture Fair

Turkey's largest and Europe's fourth largest International Agriculture and Livestock Exhibition 12th Agroexpo İzmir is getting ready to host a very important sector representative.
 


For the first time Richard Markwell, President of the European Agricultural Machinery Association (CEMA), will meet with Turkish sector representatives in Agroexpo which will be in Gaziemir's new fair area between 19-22 January 2017 and that Turkey's agricultural equipment and machinery sector shows great interest in.

Also Richard Markwell, the board director of AGCO which is one of the Europe's most important heavy agriculture machinery company, will be the honoured guest of Orion Fair.

Irmak Tan, board member of Orion Fair, said in her interview about CEMA's President participation to İzmir International Agriculture Fair, "As you all know agriculture machinery sector has been showing great interest in our fairs for many years and we wanted to carry out a project that will create a tremendous impact. As having a say in the field of International Agriculture Fair, this time our company invited world famous Richard Markwell to take honouree place in our Fair's opening. Dear Markwell accepted our invitation. After his opening speech in the fair, he will meet with Turkish agricultural machinery sector representatives. Having the President of CEMA for the first time in our country should be considered as a very important step. Also we have some other very important visitors coming from abroad. We will announce these names in the upcoming days to Turkish agriculture sector. I am pleased to signify that globally important representatives from agriculture and livestock sectors will show participation to Agroexpo in the future as well.”
