Event: Livestock Asia 2013 Expo & Forum - Asia's Major Livestock & Feed Expo will open next week in Malaysia

Asia’s Biggest International Feed, Livestock and Meat industry Expo will open at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC), Malaysia from the 24th – 26th September 2013.

With over 300 exhibiting companies from 30 countries including National Pavilions from China and groups of companies from UK, USA, and Korea, the Expo will showcase the most up-to-date products, technology and supplies for feed and livestock industry.
 
Over 6,000 trade buyers including farmers, meat processors, nutritionists, food importers, feed miller, veterinarians, distributors and retailers from the Asia region are expected to attend the 3-day Livestock Asia 2013 Expo & Forum to source for new products, technology and be updated on the latest innovation and developments within the industry.
 
Major exhibitors include top integrators, local and international suppliers from around the world.
Themed "Increase your Profit from our stock market", the exhibition will showcase the latest innovations and developments in the world of modern farming, feed production, livestock
production, and meat processing with energy efficiency and environmentally friendly technologies and solutions.
 
Meanwhile, top international speakers and industry experts will speak in the Panel Discussion and 7th Asian Livestock Industry Conference, to be held concurrently during the exhibition.
Themed ‘Livestock Production Feeding 9 Billion People Towards 2020 - The Challenge'. 

The panel discussion will be chaired by Y.BHG. Tan Sri Dato Dr Ahmad Mustaffa Babjee, Chairman of UBM Malaysia along with Honorary President O.I.E (World Organisation for Animal Health). The session will shared by Y.Bhg Tan Sri Francis Lau, Executive Director of Leong Hup Group Of Companies; Dr Arayan Trangarn, Senior Vice President of Betagro Group – Thailand; Mr. Moshiur Rahman, President of WPSA - Bangladesh; Dr Khaw Eng Sun, Poultry Integration Planner; and Mr.Max Purser, Independent Consultant – Malaysia. 

Over 500 delegates are expected to attend the panel discussion at 2.00pm on 24th September 2013. It is free to attend the session.
 
Also, the prestigious biennial Asian Livestock Industry Award and the 7th Malaysian Livestock Industry Awards will once again be held during the Livestock Asia 2013 Expo & Forum as a yardstick on the progress of the livestock and meat processing industry. 

The awards will recognise top personalities and companies and their initiatives that have contributed significantly to the development of the livestock sector. The Asian Livestock Industry Award is co-organised by the Asian Poultry Magazine while the Malaysian Livestock Industry Awards is endorsed by the Department of Veterinary Services Malaysia.
