Brazil grants rice export subsidy

The Brazilian government has reportedly granted an export subsidy of about R$53 (€23.025) per ton. Covering 117,711 metric tons of rice. The USA Rice is actively engaging the US Embassy in Brasilia and USDA and USTR in Washington to determine whether the PEP exceeds Brazil's commitments to the World Trade Organisation. Read more ...
