World Farmers Organisation a new voice in agriculture

A new organisation has been created by over 50 national farmers and cooperative organisations from around the world and is known as World Farmers Organisation (WFO). This new organisation was set up to give a united voice for world farmers and the cooperatives in the shadow of global food security concerns. It aims to encourage more interaction, one of the delegates from the World Farmers Organisation said “Today marks an historic occasion, in view of increasing concerns over market volatility and food security, this Organisation will bring together farmers and cooperatives from all over the world to exchange ideas and find common solutions".
