19/01/2015: The upper echelons of chemical engineering to gather in congress in Milan during IPACK-IMA

Milan will be home to the great ICheaP International Conference on Chemical and Processing Engineering during IPACK-IMA 2015. The choice of date and location – from May 19th to 22nd at the Stella Polare Congress Center, Fieramilano, Rho – results from the great synergy of the topics to be discussed both with IPACK-IMA 2015 and with the EXPO 2015, two top global showcases ensuring an unparalleled context for the congress.

The unique synergy of events connected to the central topic "Feed the Planet. Energy for Life” – the theme of the upcoming universal EXPO – is set to attract a global participation ensuring extraordinary visibility to tradition, creativity, innovation in the food industry and new global food scenarios.

ICheaP is an event organized by AIDIC, the Italian Association of Chemical Engineering – an association committed to promoting chemical engineering since 1958.

ICheaP, now in its 12th edition, features 600 speeches and 1600 authors from over 50 countries representing all continents.

The technical agenda is structured into 6 parallel sessions; the topics will be discussed in 2 plenary conferences, selected lessons and poster presentations – to encourage spontaneous discussion with Authors.

In particular, the synergy between ICheaP12 and IPACK-IMA will translate into sessions dealing with reducing food loss and defining new food safety objectives. For this reason ICheaP12 – in line with the objectives of the Expo 2015 and further promoting the topics tackled by IPACK-IMA – called upon experts both from the industry and from academia to provide answers and come up with solutions to these crucial issues in the field of chemical engineering.
