09/04/2015: A powerful multimedia action places IPACK-IMA on the global stage

A powerful cross-media campaign is conveying the message on a global scale: IPACK-IMA, from May 19th to 23rd, will be at the heart of this year’s most comprehensive exhibition event for processing, converting, package printing and logistics.

No medium was neglected to provide potential visitors with information on the six exhibitions (along with IPACK-IMA, Fieramilano will also host Meat-Tech, Dairytech, Fruit Innovation, Converflex and Intralogistica Italia): from traditional print (advertisements on the main national newspapers and an impressive number of trade magazines – 48 Italian and 41 international – as well as on inflight magazines of airlines including Turkish Airlines, Aeroflot and Etihad) to web portals associated to different publications.
The IPACK-IMA promotional campaign also leveraged major trade events both in Italy and abroad ever since May 2013 through the participation in 55 international fairs with promotional stands, press presentations and meetings with stakeholders.

In addition, an intensive direct marketing action developed with ICE – the Italian agency for foreign trade is offering free entrance to the exhibition to those who pre-register using the code provided on the “promocard” sent with the invitation. From paper to web, the IPACK-IMA message is spreading through the Internet to specific targets with Google display actions.
Excellent results are also coming from the action developed within the professional network Linkedin, which in the first month of activity reached 300,000 professionals (compared to the total target of one million contacts) operating in the main business communities for the processing & packaging industry around the world.

IPACK-IMA 2015 and its jointly held exhibitions will be attended by 270 international buyers from 50 countries, selected based on the preferences actively expressed by exhibitors. The Buyer's Programme supporting incoming foreign professionals visiting the exhibition is developed with the support of the Ministry of Economic Development and the operational backing of ICE.
