07/04/14: Anitox appoint new Global Marketing Director

Paulo Rezende has joined pathogen control specialist Anitox as Global Marketing Director.
The appointment comes at a pivotal time for the business: it is expanding into new markets
and has a number of important product launches scheduled.

“Anitox is headed in a particularly interesting direction,” says Paulo, “so when the
opportunity arose I knew I wanted to play a guiding role in that journey.

“Having rolled out the company’s new branding, my focus now switches to optimizing our
company messaging. The Anitox brand has a lot of value, as do our market-leading
products.”

Delivering consistent messaging that reflects the company’s science-led approach is the
priority, explains Paulo. As the company enters new markets – many of them with huge
potential - Anitox looks set to be ‘the one to watch’, he claims.

Originally from Brazil, Paulo is fluent in four languages and holds an MBA from the
Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration. Five years in marketing in
his native country preceded a move to the US in 2001 where he entered into the world of
animal health and nutrition. He has held a range of marketing roles within the industry
before joining Anitox in March.

Rick Phillips, Anitox CEO, says, “I’m delighted to welcome Paulo at this key stage in our
company’s development. His appointment underlines our commitment to bring the
organization forward as one, overlooking nothing, and maintaining our status as a market
leader.

“Paulo’s appointment reflects our understanding of the role of marketing and the
importance of delivering our message in a consistent and effective way.
