According to the data of statistics, in
March, 2014 Russia exported 194.8 thsd tonnes of sun oil, up 5% compared to the
same rate of February, 2014 and up 48% compared to March, 2013. At the same
time, the March rate is the maximum compared to all previous seasons in
Russia.
The share of crude sun oil totals 81% of the stated volume.
In the period of September-March of
2013/14 MY Russia exported 1.1 mln tonnes of sun oil, up 12% compared to the
results of 2012/13 MY. Including, the crude sun oil reached 83% of the stated
volume (78% in 2012/13 MY).

During the last three seasons the Russian
sun oil major customers were Turkey and Egypt. At the same time, the share of
the first one totaled 35-36%, as opposed to the unstable share of Egypt
(21% in 2011/12 MY; 16% in 2012/13 MY). In the current season the stated
rate reached 25%.
